For the pre-ground coffee, you need a charcoal filter. After adding the charcoal filter, add water to the water reservoir. Then add beans to the hopper. The maximum limit is half an lb. Also, it is recommended to fill up the hopper at its max. This will ensure that enough beans are there according to the desired number of coffee cups.

Remember to slide the filter basket till the sound of the snap is heard. If you can’t hear it, maybe it’s not in place. So, keep that in mind.

Step 3

After that, turn the coffee maker on. And turn the control of the grind knob. When your preferred cups are up, stop turning. The grinder is programmed to automatically correct the beans and water according to cups. After that, choose the strength of your coffee. The flavors available are regular, bold, and extra-bold

Step 4

Lastly, press the brew button to start the brewing cycle. The coffee maker will make a beeping sound after finishing the cycle. After that, the Cuisinart Grind and Brew coffee maker will enter the auto OFF button automatically. And keep the remaining coffee warm.

Insert the charcoal coffee filter as usual. But be sure to not exceed the 12-cup line. Then place the coffee filter in its place.

Step 2

After that, add the pre-ground coffee. Normally, 1 scoop of pre-ground coffee is enough for one cup of coffee. So, add according to your preferred cups. The maximum is 16 scoops. Then press the grind-off button. Lastly, press the brew button.

Step 3

The cycle will be completed within 3 -5 minutes. Also, there is a feature to pause the brew. This will let you enjoy a cup of mid-brew coffee. As it’s the first cup, the strength is weakened. Hence, it is not recommended to use until you are in a hurry to get a cup.
