Step 2-Remove Water Reservoir and Rinse it

Remove the lid of the water reservoir and set aside the lift the reservoir up and away from the machine. Rinse it with cool and clean water in the sink.

Step 3-Fill the Reservoir with Clean Water

Once the reservoir is clean, fill it with water up to the maximum line. Put the reservoir back in place and lock it in and put the lid back as well.

When the reservoir is filled with water, hit the power button on. The water should start heating up automatically.

Step 5-Run a Brewing Cycle without a K Cup

Before brewing a coffee cycle, it is essential to run a cleaning cycle as well. Put a mug on the drip tray, then open and close the K-Cup holder as if you are brewing a beverage. The brewing buttons on the control panel should blink to let you know the machine is ready. Press the “Small Cup” button to start brewing. Let the brew cycle run, then pour out the water in the cup.

Step 1-Put a Mug on the drip tray

Before you brew your first coffee, choose a mug and put it on the drip tray. Depending on the model of your coffee machine, you can use a range of mug or cup sizes.

Step 2-Lift the machine handle and insert a K-cup

Select a K-cup pod of your choice and lift the machine handle to access the K-Cup holder. Insert the pod into the holder with the foil side up.

Step 3- Push the handle down to close the lid

Once the K-Cup is into the holder, push the handle down until the lid is securely closed. You can see the message “Ready to brew” in the display window.

Step 4- Press the brew button

When the coffee maker is ready to brew, select the brew size button of your choice. It will not take more than one minute to brew coffee.

The exterior of a coffee maker is as important as an interior. It should be cleaned as well as it is exposed to dust all the time.

  • Wipe the coffee machine using a damp cloth.

Instructions

Step 1-Unplug the Coffee Maker

Always start the cleaning procedure by unplugging the coffee machine. It is safe and secure.

Step 2-Remove Tank and the Drip Tray

Once the machine is unplugged; remove the drip tray and water tank. Wash them with a mild detergent. Rinse them with water.

Clean the valve at the bottom of the tank.

Step 3-Clean the Exit Needles and K-Cup Holder

 Take out the k cup holder and clean the top exit needles. Exit needles need maintenance too. You can also clean them using a needle maintenance tool to clean it but it is recommended to clean them by taking out the k cup holder.

First, take the turn off the brewer and then take out the k cup holder and tray. Now press the buttons on the k cup to separate the housing and holder.

To remove the grounds and debris from the bottom exit needle use a paper clip. After that wash the holder with fresh water. Do it very carefully as the needle is very sharp.

Step 4-Clean the Unit

Use a toothbrush or a paper towel to clean out any dirt or coffee grounds in the unit. Especially around the top exit needle and handle.

To wipe the rest of the unit using a damp cloth. Once done with cleaning; return the removable parts on their places and plug in the coffee maker.

Step 5-Rinse the Coffee Maker

Finish the cleaning by filling the tank with freshwater. Run few brew cycles to rinse the machine.
