How To Prepare For The First Use
The first time you use your Krups coffee maker, you need to clean it by running a water cycle without using coffee or a ‘Duo Filter’.
Take out the ‘Duo Filter’ from its plastic covering, and rinse it under running water for 60 seconds.
Next, remove the water filtration holder from the reservoir.
Turn the lower part of the holder so that you can insert the ‘Duo Filter’ into its housing.
Install the water filtration holder again. You can now use the Krups coffee maker.
The Features Of Programmable Timer Models
Auto On – This feature lets you set the daily brewing start time.
Audible Signal – A beep signal indicates when the coffee is done brewing. You can turn this on or off.
1 – 3 Cup Setting – This feature allows you to extract the full flavor of your grinds from smaller amounts.
How To Program Your Krups Coffee Maker
Connect your coffee maker to the power source. For a short time, the display will light up.

Some Krups models do not have a timer, so it must be turned off manually. It will not automatically turn off.

How To Program an Audible Signal
This feature gives an audible signal when the coffee is done brewing.
The display will show a bell icon with the current time.
Press ‘PROG’ then ‘1 – 3 cups’ to turn off the audible signal. When the audible signal is on, the display will show ‘YES’.
Press the ‘1-3 cup’ button again to turn off the audible signal. The display will display ‘NO’ if the audible signal is off.
